Type: Ba/Zn thermal stabilizer

Development / Applications

LOX-4M-40 is a phthalate-free, liquid barium-zinc stabilizer for general use in low-viscosity plastisols. This stabilizer provides excellent initial color, good color retention during processing, and good stability. It is recommended for stabilizing plastisols by dip molding, rotational molding, and casting. The recommended usage level is 1.5 to 4 phr. Heat and light stability can be improved by adding epoxidized soybean oil. Applications include the manufacture of PVC footwear and dolls.
Storage
This product should be stored at normal room temperature. Once opened, the packaging should be tightly resealed.
Safety data sheets for this material are available upon request. Prolonged skin contact may cause irritation. Those handling this product should wear safety glasses and rubber gloves. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Exposed skin should be washed with soap and water.
