Type: Paraffin Wax (Fischer Tropsch)

Development / Applications

LS-1105H is an external lubricant for processing rigid and flexible PVC. It is widely used in the manufacture of hydraulic and sanitary piping. Its solubility in PVC is moderate; the recommended dosage range is 0.3 to 1.8 phr, depending on the process conditions. LS-1105H is completely electrolyte-free and hydrophobic. This material imparts a good surface finish to finished products. It is odorless and tasteless (organoleptic testing). In flexible and semi-rigid PVC, it helps improve flow during the injection molding process.
Storage
This product should be stored at normal room temperature. Once opened, the packaging should be tightly resealed.
The safety data sheet for handling this material is available upon request. Prolonged skin contact may cause irritation. Those handling this product should wear safety glasses and rubber gloves. In case of eye contact, immediately rinse with plenty of water. Wash exposed body parts with soap and water.
