Type: Paraffin Wax (Fischer Tropsch)

Development / Applications

HB-310 is an external lubricant for rigid and flexible PVC processing. It is widely used in the manufacture of hydraulic and sanitary piping. Its solubility in PVC is moderate; the recommended dosage range is 0.3 to 1.8 parts per hundredweight (ppr), depending on the process conditions. It has high lubricating power, which aids in the extrusion of large-diameter or large-schedule PVC pipe. It can also be used in CPVC processing. This material is NSF and PPI approved for the American market.
Storage
This product should be stored at normal room temperature. Once opened, the packaging should be tightly resealed.
The safety data sheet for this material is available upon request. Prolonged skin contact may cause irritation. Those handling this product should wear safety glasses and rubber gloves. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Wash exposed skin with soap and water.
