IM-812

Type: Acrylic core-shell impact modifier (ACR)

Development / Applications

IM-812 is a core-shell acrylic impact modifier (ACR) recommended for rigid and semi-rigid PVC exposed to the elements: pipe, profiles, and other rigid applications. It offers good color retention, good weather resistance, and good impact resistance at very cold temperatures. Because it is based on a saturated acrylic rubber—without the UV-vulnerable butadiene double bonds—it maintains performance and color after prolonged sun exposure, making it the modifier of choice for outdoor applications compared to MBS. Available by special order.
