Type: Ca-Zn Stabilizer

Development / Applications

MW-188 is a stabilizer that provides good compatibility and is easily dispersible in PVC compounds in suspension. It offers long-term thermal stability and excellent initial color. MW-188 promotes a balanced self-lubricating effect and good dynamic thermal stability. The recommended dosage in PVC formulations ranges from 1.0 to 3.0 phr. The addition of epoxidized soybean oil at dosages between 2.0 and 5.0 phr improves thermal stability. MW-188 can be used in extrusion and injection molding processes of flexible compounds, such as packaging, seals, mats, and floor moldings.MW-188 is free of phenols, BPA and nonylphenol.
Storage
This product should be stored at normal room temperature. Once opened, the packaging should be tightly resealed.
The safety data sheet for this material is available upon request. Prolonged skin contact may cause irritation. Those handling this product should wear safety glasses and rubber gloves. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Wash exposed skin with soap and water.
