Type: Methyltin Mercapture Stabilizer

Development / Applications

RT-430-M is a liquid stabilizer specially formulated to develop excellent initial color and long-term thermal stability. It is especially recommended for clear packaging formulations and bottle blowing, and can also be used in the extrusion of rigid PVC profiles. RT-430-M is fully compatible with PVC and its additives. RT-430-M is a high-efficiency stabilizer and can be used in PVC extrusion, calendering, and injection molding processes. The recommended dosage ranges from 1.0 to 2.5 phr depending on process and equipment conditions.Food Packaging Approval:RT-430-M can be used for the manufacture of food packaging as it complies with FDA regulations. See FDA section 21FCR178.2650.
Storage
This product should be stored at normal room temperature. Once opened, the packaging should be tightly resealed.
The safety data sheet for this material is available upon request. Prolonged skin contact may cause irritation. Those handling this product should wear safety glasses and rubber gloves. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Wash exposed skin with soap and water.
