Type: Methyltin Mercapture Stabilizer

Development / Applications

RT-198 is a stabilizer designed primarily for the extrusion of profiles, rigid film, and for the injection molding of PVC fittings. This product is fully compatible with PVC and its additives, allowing for excellent color control, transparency, high gloss, high chemical resistance, and low extractability. It does not cause plate-out or exudation problems. RT-198 delivers excellent results in processes using PVC emulsion, suspension, bulk, and copolymer resins. The recommended dosage varies depending on the process, ranging from 0.5 to 2.0 phr.It complies with FDA and the requirements established by the European Union's RoHS.
Storage
This product should be stored at normal room temperature. Once opened, the packaging should be tightly resealed.
The safety data sheet for this material is available upon request. Prolonged skin contact may cause irritation. Those handling this product should wear safety glasses and rubber gloves. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Wash exposed skin with soap and water.
