Type: Paraffin Wax (Fischer Tropsch)

Development / Applications

LS-1608-AH is primarily an external lubricant for processing rigid and flexible PVC. Its solubility in PVC is moderate; the recommended dosage ranges from 0.3 to 2.5 phr depending on process conditions. Being a synthetic wax, LS-1608-AH is completely hydrophobic and provides a good surface finish on finished products. In rigid PVC, compared to other traditional paraffinic waxes, this wax offers greater lubrication efficiency, allowing for a 151-100% reduction in dosage. Increased productivity and reduced amperage are observed during the extrusion process. This grade is NSF approved and can be used as a substitute ingredient in accordance with PPI.
Storage
This product should be stored at room temperature. Once opened, the packaging should be tightly closed.
Safety data sheets for this material are available upon request. Prolonged skin contact may cause irritation. Those handling this product should wear safety glasses and rubber gloves. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Exposed skin should be washed with soap and water.
