Type: Acrylic-type process aid

Development / Applications

LP-551 is a medium-to-low molecular weight acrylic copolymer processing aid. This processing aid can be used in the production of extruded profiles, coatings, calendered films, opaque and transparent vinyl bottles, extruded sheets and films, and molded products. LP-551 helps improve the fusion, dispersion, and viscosity of rigid compounds. It enhances processability and surface quality, promotes plate-out elimination, produces smooth, glossy surfaces, homogeneous blends, and lowers the fusion temperature of rigid compounds.
Storage
This product should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated area, away from flames and other heat sources. Once opened, the packaging should be tightly resealed.
The safety data sheet for this material is available upon request. Prolonged skin contact may cause irritation. Those handling this product should wear safety glasses and rubber gloves. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Wash exposed skin with soap and water.
