Type: Benztriazole-type UV protector

Development / Applications

UV ABSORB P is a strong benzotriazole-type ultraviolet radiation absorber in the 440-500 range ㎚. It offers excellent photostability to polymers against UV exposure. It can be used in combination with phenolic, phosphite, and HALS antioxidants to optimize the performance of products exposed to the elements. It should be stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight. For additional information, refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet.
Storage
This product should be stored in a closed, dry place and should not be exposed to light during storage.
Precautions to ensure safe handling of UV ABSORB P include ensuring adequate ventilation/extraction in the workplace. It can be handled without risk of causing skin irritation.
