Type: Methyltin Mercapture Stabilizer

Development / Applications

RT-435-L is a tin stabilizer designed primarily for the extrusion of profiles, pipe, rigid film, and for the injection molding of PVC fittings. RT-435-L is fully compatible with PVC and its additives, allowing for excellent color control, crystal clarity, high gloss, high chemical resistance, and low extractability. It does not cause plate-out or exudation problems.RT-435-L delivers excellent results in rigid extrusion, calendering, and injection molding processes for suspension, mass, and copolymer PVC. The recommended dosage varies depending on the process and can range from 0.5 to 2.5 phr. This grade offers high lubrication and low odor compared to other methyl tin grades.Food Packaging Approval:RT-435-L can be used for the manufacture of food packaging in accordance with the FDA.
Storage
This product should be stored at room temperature. Once opened, the packaging should be tightly resealed.
Safety data sheets for this material are available upon request. Prolonged skin contact may cause irritation. Those handling this product should wear safety glasses and rubber gloves. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Exposed skin should be washed with soap and water.
