Type: Antioxidant (Isodecyl Diphenyl Phosphite)

Development / Applications

DOVERPHOS-8 is recommended as an antioxidant and co-stabilizer for rigid and flexible PVC compounds. It is commonly used in combination with barium-cadmium-zinc, barium-zinc, barium-zinc, calcium-zinc, and tin stabilizers. DOVERPHOS-8 is recommended for use in PVC compounds that can be extruded, calendered, or injection molded, providing excellent initial color. It is recommended for use in materials exposed to the elements as it extends their service life. The recommended dosage is 0.5 to 2.5 phr. Used to improve initial color, color retention, clarity, and brilliance in glass products, and to give more consistent colors in pigmented products.
Storage
This product should be stored at room temperature. Once opened, the packaging should be tightly closed.
Safety data sheets for this material are available upon request. Prolonged skin contact may cause irritation. Those handling this product should wear safety glasses and rubber gloves. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Exposed skin should be washed with soap and water.
