Product Overview

General Description

Flexible Polyurethane Foam is one of the most versatile materials available. It is a flexible and durable cellular polymer, permeable to air flow, and offers superior cushioning properties compared to any other synthetic or natural product. Its high versatility allows it to be used across multiple market sectors such as the apparel, furniture, mattress, packaging, educational toys, and footwear industries, among others.

Flexible polyurethane foam is also known as foam rubber or polyurethane foam. Its manufacture involves the use of polyols, diisocyanates (TDI 80/20), surfactants, catalysts, and special additives.

POLIOLS

The polyols polyether Polymers are polymers formed by the reaction of organic oxides (such as propylene oxide) with an initiator that has two or more active hydroxyl groups. They are an essential component in the manufacture of polyurethanes. They are used in foams (mattresses, car seats), adhesives, sealants, and coatings. Their main advantage is greater resistance to hydrolysis and better flexibility at low temperatures compared to polyesters.

In our portfolio we handle conventional polyol (54 to 58 OH) and polymeric (28 to 32 OH) with a solids content at 45% and low viscosity.

TOLUENE DIISOCYANATE (TDI 80/20)

Toluene diisocyanate (TDI 80/20) is a liquid, translucent, colorless to pale yellow organic compound that is mainly used to manufacture polyurethanes, which in turn are used in products such as furniture foams, carpets, as well as coatings, adhesives and sealants. 

Rigid foam (Silicone or surfactant)

Rigid foam is widely used in construction, transportation, and healthcare, driven by the demand for insulation and lightweight materials. The main types include polyurethane foams, which are versatile and durable, and are used in panels, footwear insoles, and even medical applications.
