RG-VS-1670 is a general-purpose, lubricated liquid barium-cadmium-zinc stabilizer for suspension resins. Using RG-VS-1670 provides excellent initial color, good color retention during processing, and good long-term stability. It is recommended for stabilizing semi-rigid and plasticized compounds for extrusion, injection molding, and calendering processes. The recommended usage level is 1.5 to 3 phr. Heat and light stability can be improved by adding epoxidized soybean oil.The RG-VS-1670 was designed for formulations that require excellent color retention under strong dynamic stress.
Storage
This product should be stored at normal room temperature. Once opened, the packaging should be tightly resealed.
Safety data sheets for this material are available upon request. Prolonged skin contact may cause irritation. Those handling this product should wear safety glasses and rubber gloves. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Exposed skin should be washed with soap and water.
