LS PE 1106 is used as an external lubricant for semi-rigid and rigid PVC. It improves heat resistance and thermal stability, acts as an antistatic agent, and facilitates PVC extrusion and molding. Among other applications, it can replace Fisher-Tropsch wax in adhesive applications without affecting the formulation's properties and can be used as a dispersing agent in colored masterbatches (or inks) due to its high compatibility with other additives. It can also be used as a lubricant in the processing of polyolefins (PE/PP) for packaging, thanks to its FDA approval for indirect food contact.The dosage is recommended in a range of 0.05 to 2.00 phr depending on the type of process and conditions of the machine in which it will be used.
Storage
This product should be stored at normal room temperature. Once opened, the packaging should be tightly resealed.
Management
The safety data sheet for this material is available upon request. Prolonged skin contact may cause irritation. Those handling this product should wear safety glasses and rubber gloves. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Wash exposed skin with soap and water.
