AC-1000

Type: Azodicarbonamide (Blossoming Agent)

Development / Applications

AC-1000 is a blowing agent containing the AZO group in its chemical composition. It is used in various industries to reduce the density of mixtures. Applications include the extrusion and injection molding of PVC, PP, HDPE, ABS, PPO, and EVA products. This product disperses very easily in plastisols using conventional mixing equipment, without the need for pre-dispersion. AC-1000 produces a very uniform, fine, high-quality, low-density cell. Stabilizers commonly used in flexible PVC help activate AC-1000 for proper processing at normal temperatures. Examples of activators include zinc octoate, zinc oxide, and zinc stearate. In plastisol preparation, AC-1000 is incorporated directly with the other formulation ingredients. For typical foamed structures, the dosage ranges from 0.4 to 4 PHR.
Storage
This product should be stored at room temperature. Once opened, the packaging should be tightly closed.
Safety data sheets for this material are available upon request. Prolonged skin contact may cause irritation. Those handling this product should wear safety glasses and rubber gloves. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Exposed skin should be washed with soap and water.
