Un <b>aditivo antihongos<\/b> incorporado a la formulaci\u00f3n protege el producto durante toda su vida \u00fatil, desde adentro, y no como un tratamiento superficial que se pierde con el uso.<\/p><p>He <b>piritionato de zinc<\/b> es un biocida de amplio espectro y alta eficiencia. Inhibe el crecimiento de bacterias gram positivas y gram negativas, as\u00ed como de hongos, moho y algas. Incorporado al compuesto migra lentamente hacia la superficie y mantiene una acci\u00f3n antimicrobiana sostenida, evitando la generaci\u00f3n de malos olores y la degradaci\u00f3n asociada a la exposici\u00f3n constante a la humedad.<\/p><p>En la industria del pl\u00e1stico se emplea para proteger PVC, acetato de vinilo, poliamidas, poliuretanos, poli\u00e9steres y poliolefinas. Tambi\u00e9n se utiliza en el tratamiento de textiles y en la preservaci\u00f3n de pinturas, recubrimientos, adhesivos y selladores.<\/p><p>El nivel de protecci\u00f3n depende de la pieza y del entorno de uso, por lo que conviene ajustar la dosificaci\u00f3n a la aplicaci\u00f3n. Conviene considerar adem\u00e1s dos puntos: el piritionato de zinc puede reaccionar en presencia de ciertos metales, por lo que el control del resto de la formulaci\u00f3n es clave para evitar decoloraci\u00f3n; y la exposici\u00f3n prolongada a la luz UV afecta a este tipo de biocidas, de modo que para uso a la intemperie conviene acompa\u00f1arlo de la protecci\u00f3n adecuada.
