It offers good polarity and transparency, while also facilitating melt processing. It is also used as a secondary plasticizer, as it <strong>solvates PVC<\/strong> and provides a certain degree of flexibility.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">It has a slight odor, which normally does not represent an issue for manufacturers. In addition, it is FDA-approved for food-contact applications, as it is considered a non-toxic material. It exhibits good polarity with <strong>PVC<\/strong> up to a certain level; however, at higher loadings it may lead to migration.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">Its use is recommended in combination with metal salt stabilizers such as <strong>barium zinc<\/strong> and <strong>calcium zinc<\/strong>.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">Our high-quality grades feature an optimal oxirane content and a low iodine value, resulting in excellent compatibility with <strong>PVC<\/strong> and low migration levels.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Epoxidized soybean oil (ESBO)<\/strong> is widely accepted for the manufacture of food packaging films, as it also provides excellent elongation and adhesion properties to the finished
