Type: MBS Impact Modifier

MBS LB-136 is a terpolymer of methyl methacrylate, butadiene, and styrene, primarily used in the rigid PVC process. Its main characteristics are high impact resistance, good transparency, good processability, shorter gel time, and reduced wrinkling. It can be used in opaque or transparent applications.Its rapid melting contributes to higher performance, its greater impact efficiency allows for reduced MBS dosage and cost savings in formulation, and it improves the impact properties of blow-molded PVC products, injection-molded parts, calendered laminated tubes, PVC films, laminated materials, granular materials, indoor tubes, and pipe fittings.
Storage
This product must be kept away from flames and other heat sources. It must be stored in a cool, well-ventilated area. Once opened, the package must be tightly resealed.
Safety data sheets for this material are available upon request. Prolonged skin contact may cause irritation. Those handling this product should wear safety glasses and rubber gloves. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Wash exposed skin with soap and water.
