Type: Foam stabilizer

Development / Applications

AK-8830 is a non-hydrolytic polysiloxane-polyether copolymer based on silicon-carbon bonds. It is suitable for polyurethane foaming systems with various blowing agents. It exhibits excellent emulsifying, nucleating, and foam-stabilizing capabilities, achieving a perfect combination of these three properties. It also provides extremely low thermal conductivity and excellent adhesion.
Storage
It should be stored in a dry, sealed place and should not be stored in extremely hot or cold environments. Its shelf life is 12 months. If test results exceed 12 months, it can continue to be used.
The safety data sheet for this material is available upon request. Prolonged skin contact may cause irritation. Those handling this product should wear safety glasses and rubber gloves. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Wash exposed skin with soap and water.
